Victoria Ward Projects

Designs at Ward Center were completed to facilitate many tenant relocations. A fire alarm system was designed to interface separate systems in various retail spaces into one central system. The new fire alarm system design also included ADAAG considerations and current codes. Honolulu, Hawaii.

Project included: Fire alarm system replacement, Paul Brown Salon, A New Season, Power Edge, Bernard’s Deli, Keo’s, Davidoff, Franklin Covey, Brookstone, Handblock, Pretzelmaker.

 

Financial Plaza of the Pacific

The plaza consists of a 22-story tower, 12-story tower and a 6-story tower. Honolulu, Hawaii.

Projects included: Fire alarm system retrofit, exterior lighting study, power system analysis, and elevator power problems.

 

Hale Koa Hotel

IPrime Consultants responsible for electrical, mechanical and architecture revisions required to upgrade the existing fire alarm system to meet standard codes including design of a new fire command center and interface with the Maile tower. Waikiki, Hawaii.

Projects included: Ilima tower fire alarm retrofit, fire alarm construction administration, kitchen AC report, kitchen emergency power, kitchen hood.

 

Kaiser Permanente

The complex consists of 5 separate structures with a total of approximately 300,000 square feet. Honolulu, Hawaii.

Projects include:

ER renovation – Renovation of emergency room in phases to keep the facility completely operational.

OR expansion - Addition of new operating rooms to existing facility.

PBX relocation - Relocation of existing telephone equipment room to accommodate a phased switchover to an entirely new phone system. This room contained air conditioning, backup air conditioning, fire suppression and infrastructure to accommodate the extensive cabling required for the connection to the facility.

Fire alarm system replacement – Phased replacement of the entire fire alarm system consisting of over 2000 devices and 22 sub panels.

MRI – Addition of new magnetic resonance imaging unit to the existing facility including a new raised floor computer room and uninterruptible power supply.

Public address system replacement – Phased replacement of the entire public address system to a new computer driven, supervised system.

Volunteer services relocation – Relocation of an existing department within the complex.

Sterilizer replacement – Replacement of existing sterilizers in place.

Parking structure lighting – Enhancement of existing parking structure lighting with new fluorescent lights.

Computer room expansion – Enlargement of the existing computer room to four times the floor area with new AC and uninterruptible power supply and fire suppression system.

 

American Savings Bank

Fire alarm replacement – Design of new multiplexed fire alarm system.

New computer room – Design of the raised floor computer room including an uninterruptible power supply and fire suppression system. Mililani, Hawaii.

 

First Insurance Center

The center consists of a five-story office building and an 11-floor tower. The fire alarm system interlaced both buildings into a central command station and was compliant with current codes and ADAAG. Honolulu, Hawaii.

Projects included: Fire alarm system replacement, fire alarm installation project management, stairwell pressurization fan.

 

Le Jardin Academy

Le Jardin Academy was founded in 1961. It currently provides education for 430 students, pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Added a new 30,000 square foot French language academy at the old Kailua Drive Inn site. Included new site electrical utilities, site and roadway lighting, interior lighting power, fire alarm and master clock. Kailua, Hawaii.

 

Pipeline Café

Conversion of a warehouse into a sports bar, including lighting, power, and new fire alarm system to meet ADA and NFPA codes for a place of assembly. Honolulu, Hawaii.

 

IBM Building

Fire alarm system retrofit of a former one-tenant building to accommodate multiple tenants and current code requirements. Honolulu, Hawaii.

 

Navy Exchange Warehouse

New construction of a 164,000 square foot naval warehouse and distribution center. Honolulu, Hawaii.
